Throughout 2005, Vernier will offer free, four-hour, hands-on evaluation workshops in which educators will learn how to integrate computer and handheld data-collection technology into chemistry, biology, physics, math, middle school science, physical science and Earth science curricula. Spread across 39 states, the workshops will also show participants how to use data-collection products with computers, TI graphing calculators, and Palm OS® handhelds. Participants will also receive lab handouts and lunch or dinner.
In addition to the evaluation workshops, Vernier will be offering hands-on training at conferences such as the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) conferences, the AP Conference in Houston, the American Association of Physics Teachers conference in Salt Lake City and regional conferences across the nation.
