Release Notes

2.3 (April 2019)

The sample mBlock programs for Computer/Chromebook have been updated with shorter file names. This resolves an issue with unzipping the Electronic Resources on computers with character limits for file names.

2.2 (October 2018)

Affects iOS/Android only: The Getting Started with mBot guide has been updated to the correct version.

2.1 (July 2018)

Affects iOS/Android only: The individual PDF for Activity 2 Instructor Information has been included.

2.0 (June 2018)

This update adds support for users of iOS and Android devices. In the iOS/Android version of the module, students use two apps, Makeblock and mBlock Blockly, to control and program mBot. The iOS/Android version is written for elementary and middle school students.

The computer/Chromebook version (written for middle and high school) had minor updates.

1.0 (April 2018)

We are excited to announce the initial release of Coding with mBot: Self-Driving Vehicles. This electronic module contains nine coding activities for middle and high school students. Sample programs and tips for using mBot in the classroom with students are included the extensive Instructor Information files.
