Davis Wireless Vantage Vue weather station is an excellent choice for your school. The weather station is very affordable and easy to set up.

Description

The Vantage Vue Weather Station includes the integrated sensor suite (ISS), which normally is placed on the roof, and a console, which you place in your room.

The ISS combines a rain collector, temperature sensor, humidity sensor, wind vane and anemometer–all into one package. It has a internal battery (included) for power and a solar panel for charging.

The ISS sends weather data wirelessly to the Vantage Vue console. The console has an AC power supply and battery backup. It includes temperature, humidity, and pressure sensors. It displays current weather data (outside and inside) an it has the ability to display graphs. It also displays time, date, moon phase, sunrise time, sunset time, and a forecast. You can even set alarms to go off when a sensor exceeds a threshold. All without a computer!
