Getting Started with the Go Direct® Potassium Ion-Selective Electrode and Graphical Analysis GW for Android

Your sensor and interface combination does not work directly with this platform.
Wireless Data Sharing from LabQuest 2

Collect, analyze, and share your Go Direct® Potassium Ion-Selective Electrode data with Wireless Data Sharing. You will need a LabQuest 2 (sold separately).

Using Bluetooth

  1. Ensure your Go Direct® Potassium Ion-Selective Electrode is charged.
  2. Turn on your sensor by pressing the power button once. The LED on the sensor will flash red.
  3. Ensure your LabQuest is charged or connected to AC power.
  4. Turn on LabQuest and choose New from the File menu.
  5. Choose Wireless Device Setup > Go Direct… from the Sensors menu.
  6. Choose your Go Direct® Potassium Ion-Selective Electrode from the list of discovered devices and tap OK. The app will identify the sensor and load a default data-collection setup. The LED on the sensor will now flash green.
  7. Enable Data Sharing on LabQuest 2.
  8. Launch Graphical Analysis on the Android Device.
  9. Click or tap New Experiment, +, to display the Select Source dialog.
  10. Select Data Sharing, then choose your LabQuest 2 from the list of discovered Data Sharing sources. The app will connect to LabQuest 2. You are now ready to continue your experiment.

Using USB

  1. Ensure your LabQuest is charged or connected to AC power.
  2. Turn on LabQuest and choose New from the File menu.
  3. Connect the Go Direct® Potassium Ion-Selective Electrode to LabQuest. The app will identify the sensor and load a default data-collection setup.
  4. Enable Data Sharing on LabQuest 2.
  5. Launch Graphical Analysis on the Android Device.
  6. Click or tap New Experiment, +, to display the Select Source dialog.
  7. Select Data Sharing, then choose your LabQuest 2 from the list of discovered Data Sharing sources. The app will connect to LabQuest 2. You are now ready to continue your experiment.

Compatibility Notes

Wireless connection of this sensor to a LabQuest 2 requires a Go Wireless Bluetooth Adapter when used with some older LabQuest 2 models.
