Most of our products are created as a hybrid cd so that they can be viewed on Mac and Windows. The software that you use to copy the disk must be able to preserve both the Mac and Windows information when making a copy.

The best way to do this is to use a Mac to copy the CDs. To make copies of a Vernier CD on a Mac do the following:

1. Open the program named “Disk Utility”.
2. Insert the Logger Pro CD in your computer’s optical drive
3. Select “Session 1” in the list of disks and volumes at the left.
4. Choose File > New > “Disk Image from [disk1s1…].”
5. Type a name for the disk image.
6. Choose “read-only” from the Image Format pop-up menu.
7. Click Save.
8. After Disk Utility creates the disk image, eject the original CD or DVD.
9. Select the disk image in the list of disks and volumes, and choose Images > Burn.
10. When the Burn Disc dialog appears, insert a blank CD or DVD, and then click Burn.
