Logger Pro defaults to using the Arial font for all of its non-menu text. Occasionally a computer may be missing this font or have some other issue that causes Logger Pro to fail to render text properly. Check to see if the Arial font is installed and is being used by the system.

Windows XP:
Click Start, then Control Panel, and then Fonts. Make sure that you have the Arial font in the resulting list of icons.

If you do not see it there, you will need to install it using the File/Install menu and pointing it to the Arial font file found in the WindowsFonts folder (arial.ttf).

Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8:
Click Start, then Control Panel, and then Fonts. If you don’t have an option for font, in the upper right of the control panel click on “Category” and choose something else in that list, then click on Fonts. Find Arial in the resulting list and double click on it, you should have 5 things, the important one is “Arial Regular”

If you do not see it there, you will need to install it by copying the font file into that folder (arial.ttf).

Arial is a Windows system font. If it is missing, the installation of Windows is incomplete.
