This error message can be triggered by either a conflict with TI Connect or a corrupted InstallShield engine file. We typically only see this with older versions of TI Connect or of Logger Pro. The issue has been resolved in new versions of Logger Pro. Download the latest version of Logger Pro from our website:
If you are using an older version Logger Pro or TI Connect, there are two possible solutions:
1. Install a new version of TI Connect. Free download from Texas Instruments at:

Rename "RunTime" to be something like "Runtime-old" and run the installer again.
