Macintosh only.

Problem: Logger Pro clips videos or shows offset points when not using full screen. If you resize the Logger Pro window, it will be clear that the video content is not being resized, but that the video object is being resized, resulting in the video being cropped.

This is a problem for Logger Pro 3.5 and 3.6 on Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5 when running an obsolete version of Quicktime.

The problem appears if you view a video AND have Logger Pro set to use less than the full screen of your computer while running some versions of Quicktime prior to 7.5. In this case the video is cropped, so that you do not see the entire video.

Worse, any marked video points will be in the wrong position, making any analysis unreliable.

To avoid this problem, update Quicktime to version 7.5 or later. Normal software updates will keep the version of Quicktime newer than 7.5.

See Video Analysis: marked points and scale are offset. for a similar problem that is not Quicktime related. This other problem does not crop videos.
