Symptom:

When the Logger Pro installer is run, the Logger Pro 3 folder in Applications is updated with the new release notes, but no Logger Pro application is installed.

The issue is that there is another copy of the Logger Pro application somewhere on the computer, and the installer is finding and updating that copy instead of placing the application in the expected location.

To get out of this state, remove all copies of Logger Pro from the computer before reinstalling Logger Pro.

Use these steps:

1. Open Finder and type “Logger Pro” in the Search field.
2. Select “This Mac” in the Search options.
3. Move all copies of Logger Pro to the trash.
4. Empty the trash.

Next, run the installer again and verify that the Logger Pro application icon appears in the Logger Pro 3 folder in Applications.
