Why can't I see Vernier Data Share when I enter the correct address in a browser?

To connect to Vernier Data Share, make sure that Data Sharing is enabled and follow the below steps.

1. Make sure the LabQuest 2 and mobile device are on the same Wi-Fi network.
LabQuest: Tap the radio icon in the toolbar. Verify that the correct network name is displayed, along with a numeric IP address.
Mobile device: Follow your manufacturer's instructions for connecting to a Wi-Fi network.

2. Check that Data Sharing is enabled.
On LabQuest 2, press the home button. Then choose Connections > Data Share.

  • Make sure that Vernier Data Share is enabled.
  • Tap Refresh QR code.
  • Verify that a hostname and IP address are displayed.

    3. Connect to Vernier Data Share.

  • Make sure your mobile device is on the same network and open a browser (Chrome or Safari).
  • Type the numeric IP address in the location bar and press Go or Enter.

    Vernier Data Share should now display in your browser.

    If you do not see Vernier Data Share, your network may be configured to isolate clients. Please contact your network administrator.
