Where is the accelerometer located inside the LabQuest 2?

To use the internal sensors on the LabQuest 2 to make rotational physics measurements, it's important to know where the accelerometer itself is located inside the unit.

If the unit is face up the sensor is located 72mm from the docking connector and 32mm from the digital port side of the plastic case.

Alternatively the students can find its location experimentally by following a protocol similar to

and either use a photogate with a small flag or video analysis to get the rotational velocity.
