Staring with Android version 6, app permissions lumped together the use of Bluetooth and location information. As a result, to allow the Graphical Analysis, Graphical Analysis Pro, Instrumental Analysis, and Spectral Analysis apps to use Bluetooth radios, one must grant the apps location permission.

Any use of Bluetooth to scan for devices by an application requires the user grant permission to see location information when running Android 6.0 and newer

GA does not track user location; it only uses Bluetooth to talk to Go Direct devices.

If permission is denied, GA will be unable to communicate with Go Direct devices.

To make sure the device has the location permission on, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the gear icon. Under Security and Location, tap Location and make sure it is turned on.

To give specific apps location permission, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the gear icon. Under Apps, find and tap the appropriate app. Locate the permissions item, and tap to reach a screen where Location permission can be granted.

You can always uninstall and then reinstall the app. This will restore the dialog that asks at launch if you want to give location permissions to the app.

Graphical Analysis, Instrumental Analysis, or Spectral Analysis says that Bluetooth is off, but I am sure it is on. (Android devices)
