What does the UV sensor on the Go Direct Light and Color sensor measure?

The UV sensor in the Go Direct Light and Color sensor is the combined output from two sensors that together create an output with half-sensitivity range from 320 nm to 375 nm - spanning most of the region considered to be UVA.

UVA is the portion of the electromagnetic field with a wavelength between 320 nm and 400 nm, while UVB has a wavelength between 280 nm and 320 nm. This sensor is able to detect some UVB light (with less sensitivity), but should not be used for quantitative UVB measurements.
