Go Direct® Sound Sensor (GDX-SND), can capture waveforms using its Microphone channel. By doing an FFT on those waveforms, you can find what frequency or frequencies contribute to the waveform. If you have a Go Direct Sound and would like to calculate FFTs using its Microphone data, you have two options:

Option 1
Connect Go Direct Sound to a LabQuest 2 or LabQuest 3, either via USB or Bluetooth, and follow the same procedures that you use with Microphone (MCA-BTA). See How do I use LabQuest App to measure the frequency of sounds?.

Option 2
Requires Graphical Analysis Pro
a. Collect Microphone data from Go Direct Sound in Graphical Analysis Pro.
b. From the Graph Tools menu, click or tap Apply FFT. FFT data will show in a new graph display.
