If you press the power button and the Bluetooth LED does not flash red, there is a battery problem. The first thing to try is charging the sensor for a couple of hours.

There are two additional tests that can tell you if the battery in the sensor is dead or missing.

Test 1     Connect the sensor to power via USB. If the battery LED immediately comes on as solid green, this may indicate the battery is dead or missing. However, it can also indicate that the battery is fully charged.

Test 2     Connect the sensor to your computer or Chromebook via USB and launch Graphical Analysis. If the sensor is not recognized by Graphical Analysis, the battery may be bad.

The battery in a Go Direct sensor has a 1-year warranty, but we expect it to last three years. If your battery is less than 1 year old and has gone bad, please contact Vernier customer support.
