Thank you for your interest in our products. The EA-100 primarily supports the major Vernier Sensors (as listed below). Note however that the compatibility between the EA-100 and Vernier Sensors is limited to the programs available. Vernier has not written nor do we have these programs. We have attempted to summarize the compatibility between our sensors and the EA-100 System. The information below is gathered from the manufacturer’s web site and/or information from their technical support. Vernier Software & Technology has not tested the compatibility between our products and Casio products. A number of factors contribute to the successful compatibility between various interfaces and sensors: physical compatibility, software, calibrations, voltages, etc. Refer to the manufacturer for information on the use of our sensors with their hardware and software.

-Compatible Sensors. According to the pegasus site below, the following sensors are compatible with the EA-100 (BTA sensors plug directly in the EA-100. DIN sensors require DIN-BTA adapter): Accelerometers, Barometer, Biology Gas Pressure Sensor, CO2 Gas Sensor, Colorimeter, Conductivity Probe, Current and Voltage Probes, Dissolved Oxygen Probe, EKG Sensor, Exercise Heart Rate Monitor, Force Sensor, Heart Rate Monitor, Light Sensor, Magnetic Field Sensor, Microphone, Motion Detector, pH Sensor, Pressure Sensor, Photogates, Smart Pulley, Relative Humidity Sensor, Respiration Monitor Belt, and Temperature. The following sensors can probably work with the EA-100, but we are not aware of existing programs that will run them:O2 Gas, Turbitity, Gas Pressure Sensor, Dual-Range Force Sensor, Flow Rate Sensor, Radiation Monitors, ISE Probe, Thermocouple, Voltage probe, and Instrumentation Amplifier.

-Incompatible Sensors: Rotary Motion Sensor, Digital Control Unit.

-Software: The Meridian Creative Group www.meridiancg.com has written an activity book that uses our sensors with the Casio EA100. Their book includes calculator programs. Their web site is www.meridiancg.com. Key Curriculum Press, www.keypress.com also has a book of activities for the EA100.

Casio has also posted programs at these websites: http://pegasus.cc.ucf.edu/~ucfcasio/html/ea100prog.htm

-In Addition: Graphical Analysis is not compatible with Cassiopeia (palm-size PC computer).
