The Bluetooth LED will blink red.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure your LabQuest is charged or connected to AC power.<\/li>\n<li>Turn on LabQuest and choose&nbsp;<strong>New<\/strong>&nbsp;from the File menu.<\/li>\n<li>Choose&nbsp;<strong>Wireless Device Setup &gt; Go Direct\u2026<\/strong>&nbsp;from the Sensors menu.<\/li>\n<li>Choose your sensor from the list of discovered devices and tap&nbsp;<strong>OK<\/strong>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The app will identify the sensor and load a default data-collection setup.<\/li>\n<li>The Bluetooth LED on the sensor will blink green when it is successfully connected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If your sensor has multiple sensor channels, you can <a href=\"\/til\/20039#lq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">change the default settings<\/a>.\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-alpha\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tap the sensor meter and select <strong>Sensor Channels&#8230;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select the sensor channels you want to use.<\/li>\n<li>Tap <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>You are ready to continue your experiment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"usb\">Connect Your Sensor Using USB<\/h2>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure your LabQuest is charged or connected to AC power.<\/li>\n<li>Turn on LabQuest and choose&nbsp;<strong>New<\/strong>&nbsp;from the File menu.<\/li>\n<li>Connect your sensor to the USB port on LabQuest. Your LabQuest must be on the same Wi-Fi network as your devices. <em><strong>Note:<\/strong> This option does not work for Graphical Analysis run in a browser.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>LabQuest cannot receive data via Data Sharing, it can only act as a Data Sharing source.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure your LabQuest is charged or connected to AC power.<\/li>\n<li>Turn on LabQuest and choose&nbsp;<strong>New<\/strong>&nbsp;from the File menu.<\/li>\n<li>Connect the sensor to your LabQuest using a <a href=\"#bluetooth\">Bluetooth<\/a> connection or <a href=\"#usb\">USB<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/til\/2726\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Enable Data Sharing<\/a>&nbsp;on LabQuest.<\/li>\n<li>Launch Graphical Analysis on the device you wish to Data Share with.<\/li>\n<li>Click or tap&nbsp;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"36\" class=\"wp-image-25529\" style=\"width: 150px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/07\/GA_DataShare_wText.png\" alt=\"\">.<\/li>\n<li>Choose your LabQuest from the list of discovered Data Sharing sources.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Graphical Analysis will connect to your LabQuest.<\/li>\n<li>If your version of Graphical Analysis has the Pro features unlocked, select the Local data sharing option to see the list of devices.<\/li>\n<li>If your LabQuest does not show up in the list, click or tap&nbsp;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"108\" height=\"11\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/02\/Specify-Source.png\" alt=\"\">&nbsp;and enter the IP address of the LabQuest.<\/li>\n<li>If you are using a Chromebook or running Graphical Analysis from a browser, open a new browser window and enter the IP address of the LabQuest to share the data with your device.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>You are ready to continue your experiment by collecting data using the LabQuest.
