We do not recommend collecting data with the AC power connected.<\/li>\n<li>Turn on your spectrometer by pressing the power button once. The power LED will glow green and the Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> LED will flash blue.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Go Direct Emissions Spectrometer<\/strong><br \/>The following applies to the Go Direct Emissions Spectrometer and the Go Direct Visible Spectrophotometer in emissions configuration.\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-alpha\" class=\"wp-block-list has-kb-palette-6-background-color has-background\">\n<li>Connect the spectrometer at a USB power adapter or to a powered USB hub. The Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> LED will flash blue. Note: To use the spectrometer via Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>, do not plug the USB cable into your computer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Go Direct UV-VIS, Go Direct Fluorescence\/UV-VIS, and Go Direct Visible Spectrophotometers<\/strong>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-alpha\" class=\"wp-block-list has-kb-palette-6-background-color has-background\">\n<li>Connect the AC Power Supply to the spectrophotometer. This supplies power to the lamp (unnecessary for emissions experiments).<\/li>\n<li>Turn the power switch to the ON position. Wait for the lamp indicator LED to remain green.<\/li>\n<li>To power the Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> radio, connect the spectrometer to the USB power adapter or to a powered USB hub. The Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> LED will flash blue. Your sensor\u2019s ID is located near the barcode on the sensor label.<\/li>\n<li>Click or tap <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"100\" height=\"44\" class=\"wp-image-23525\" style=\"width: 100px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/09\/Pair.png\" alt=\"\">.
