Saving data in your calculator’s memory:

From the main menu, choose TOOLS

Selecting STORE LATEST RUN stores the previous data into List 3 so List 2 becomes free for more data. In other words, List 3 (L3) becomes List 4 (L4), List 2 (L2) becomes List 3 (L3), and so on.

Note: This feature will work (and return to the main screen) only if one sensor is active in CH 1. It can only store two previous runs. The third run must remain in List 2 (L2).

RETRIEVE DATA. The Retrieve Data option is used to download data after remote data collection.

· From the TOOLS menu, select RETRIEVE DATA.

· You will get a message “Retrieving Data.”

· Arrow to the data set you want to view and press ENTER. Follow the directions for viewing a graph.

2. Saving Data (and experiments) in LabPro’s memory:

DataMate allows you to save experiments in LabPro’s FLASH Memory, recall them later, and delete them when you no longer need them. An experiment includes all program set-ups, sensor selections, calibrations, graph settings, and so forth, as well as any data you have collected. Heart Rate Monitor and Respiration Monitor data are not saved with experiments.

From the main screen, choose 1:Setup, then choose 4: SAVE/LOAD

Select SAVE EXPERIMENT to either save a setup with or without data. When you have entered the settings for an experiment but haven’t taken data, only the settings are saved. If you have entered the settings and taken data, both are saved. Follow the steps to save an experiment.

· From the EXPERIMENT menu, press SAVE EXPERIMENT

· Type in a name and press ENTER. The experiment is saved, and the SETUP menu reappears.

LOAD EXPERIMENT. This option allows you to call up a saved experiment to view, analyze, etc. This is useful is you want to 1: Load settings so it’s ready to collect data or 2: Load settings with data for analysis, etc.

· From the EXPERIMENT menu, press LOAD EXPERIMENT.

· Press the number beside the experiment you want. After the experiment loads you are taken to the main screen.

Actually there are two ways of storing data with the Datamate program, both of which are described in the Datamate Guidebook, available for download from…

[207,224,166,826,827,825
post-1005","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","tag-calculator","tag-datamate","tag-labpro","tag-saving","tag-store","tag-storing
["GET
