This will probably not cause a problem, but the error message is annoying. <\/p>\n<p>The problem is due to other, badly-behaved applications attempting to connect to the Go! device. Some Logitech software is known to cause the problem, but other software could do this as well.<\/p>\n<p>The best solution is to figure out what other (non-Vernier) software is seizing the Go! device and remove it, but this may be difficult. <\/p>\n<p>To just disable the message, open the file UserSettings.txt (for Logger <i>Pro<\/i> 3.5 and later) or strings.txt (Logger <i>Pro<\/i> 3.4.6 and earlier), located in the Support folder in the Logger <i>Pro<\/i> 3 folder, use a text editor (Word is not a text editor). Find the string<\/p>\n<p>IDSX_DISPLAY_EXCLUSIVE_ACCESS_WARNING = &#8220;yes&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If you set this to &#8220;no&#8221; the warning message will never be displayed.
