If one or more of these variables has been ARCHIVED, it cannot be accessed by the application, and generates the ERR:ARCHIVED message to be displayed.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The following applications are affected:<\/h3>\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>EasyData<\/li>\n<li>DataMate<\/li>\n<li>VST Apps<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ChemBio<\/li>\n<li>Physics<\/li>\n<li>PhySci<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Variables that CANNOT be Archived<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Lists:<\/strong> L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, L7, L8, L9, L10, L11, LC, LM, LS<\/li>\n<li><strong>Matrices:<\/strong> [A], [B]<\/li>\n<li><strong>Real Numbers:<\/strong> A \u2212 Z, and \u03b8<\/li>\n<li><strong>Strings:<\/strong> Str0, Str1, Str2, Str3, Str4, Str5 and Str6<\/li>\n<li><strong>Programs:<\/strong> RegEqu (DataMate only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resolving the Issue<\/h3>\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p><strong>Option 1<\/strong>\u2014Manually remove variables from Archive memory<br \/><em><strong>Note:<\/strong> Applications such as EasyData and DataMate are always archived. <\/em><\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Press <strong>[2nd][+]<\/strong> (MEM) then choose <strong>2:Mem Mgmt\/Del&#8230;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong>1:All&#8230;<\/strong> to show a list of all calculator variables, programs, and applications. <\/li>\n<li>Use the up and down arrow keys to scroll through the list of variables. Look for any variable that show an asterisk (*) in front of the variable name. This indicates that variable is Archived.<\/li>\n<li>If the archived item is from the list above, place the cursor next to that item, then press <strong>[Enter]<\/strong>. This should remove the asterisk, indicating the variable is no longer archived. <\/li>\n<li>Go through the entire list and make sure that the appropriate items are no longer archived.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p><strong>Option 2<\/strong>\u2014Reset the Calculator<br \/><em><strong>CAUTION: <\/strong>This method will <strong>ERASE ALL DATA<\/strong> including PROGRAMS and APPLICATIONS. Use with caution.<\/em><\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Press <strong>[2nd][+]<\/strong> (MEM) and choose the option to <strong>Reset&#8230;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Use the right arrow key to highlight <strong>ALL<\/strong>, then press <strong>[Enter]<\/strong> to select <strong>All Memory&#8230;<\/strong> <\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong>Reset<\/strong> to confirm. <\/li>\n<li>Once the memory is reset, reload any application or programs you need.
