There are two scenarios here. Both apply equally to ChemBio, Physics and PhySci programs.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sensor Supported in the Program<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your auto-ID sensor is of a type already supported in the program, (e.g., Dual-Range Force Sensor), you need to be sure you are running the latest version of the program. To see which sensors are supported and to get the latest version of the program, see<br \/><a href=\"\/til\/5152\/\">What sensor data-collection programs work with the original CBL System from Texas Instruments?<\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sensor NOT Supported in the Program<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your auto-ID sensor is not supported in the program (e.g., Salinity Sensor), do the following&#8230;<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do NOT plug the sensor into the original CBL initially.<\/li>\n<li>Launch your program and set up a sensor as follows:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ChemBio and PhySci: set up a pH sensor<\/li>\n<li>Physics:  set up a C-V Voltage probe<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Now connect the auto-ID sensor to the original CBL.<\/li>\n<li>Calibrate your sensor.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manually enter the calibration slope and intercept for your sensor(found in the sensor booklet)<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>OR<\/em><\/strong> perform a live, two-point calibration. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The sensor should now be ready to take measurements as desired.<\/li>\n<\/ol>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This information pertains to the original CBL only.
