For example, on first connection of a LabQuest Stream, you may see <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"520\" height=\"496\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/11\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16263\" style=\"width:326px;height:311px\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">macOS 13 dialog<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You must click Allow to use the device with Vernier apps. Don&#8217;t Allow will silently disable the USB device. If you do click Don&#8217;t Allow, disconnect the USB cable, wait a moment, and reconnect. You should see the dialog again. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This security requirement appears to be implemented only in Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 13 Ventura and macOS 14 Sonoma.
