You will find resources for getting started with this here:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/engineering\/python\/\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/engineering\/python\/\">https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/engineering\/python\/<\/a><\/a>&nbsp;Please visit our GitHub Getting Started guide&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/vernierst.github.io\/godirect-examples\/python\/\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vernierst.github.io\/godirect-examples\/python\/\">https:\/\/vernierst.github.io\/godirect-examples\/python\/<\/a><\/a> to access instructions for using the library and sample code.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"\/product\/go-direct-respiration-belt\/\">Go Direct<sup>&reg;<\/sup> Respiration Belt<\/a> (<nobr>GDX-RB<\/nobr>) has several channels (explained in the Getting Started information). Please note that the respiration rate requires a time lag to calculate the respiration rate from a reasonable amount of data. This channel will return &#8220;NAN&#8221; until a value is created. You can also monitor the Force channel and create your own algorithm for determining respiration rate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here are the channels for this sensor: <\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Force<\/li>\n<li>Respiration Rate<\/li>\n<li>Steps<\/li>\n<li>Step Rate<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>We have created a Web VPython program determining the respiration rate from the force data.
