Some Chromebooks are able to run Android applications, but if you have installed the Android version of Graphical Analysis, or allow the USB device to connect to the Android system, Graphical Analysis will not connect to USB devices. See My Chromebook won't connect to USB devices when using Graphical Analysis, Spectral Analysis, or Instrumental Analysis.

There is also an order-of-operations behavior that can cause the Chromebook to not see the USB device. To avoid this, always launch the Graphical Analysis app before connecting Go Direct sensors or LabQuest devices by USB. If you make the USB connection, and then launch Graphical Analysis, the devices will not be found. Recover by disconnecting, quitting and re-launching Graphical Analysis, and only then make the USB connection. Use of the PWA version avoids this behavior.

Regarding both the packaged app and the PWA

We have seen Chromebooks fail to connect to USB devices, and then resume working after performing a Powerwash to reset the Chromebook.
