It is likely your computer is asking for the administrative username and password before it will let you install software. If that is the case, contact your IT department for further assistance.<\/p>\n<p>Older versions of Logger <em>Pro<\/em>\u00a0installer<strong>*<\/strong> did prompt for a password. If your Logger <em>Pro<\/em> installer is asking for a password, you need a newer version of the installer (unless you are using a computer running an outdated operating system).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructors and IT staff:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/my-account\/\">create or sign into an account<\/a> on our web site. Once we validate your school&#8217;s license, we can provide you with download links to the current version, which you can distribute to students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students:<\/strong> We do not provide accounts directly to students.
