This is expected, though somewhat confusing behavior.<\/strong>
The TI Calculator Data-Only Go Direct USB Cable (expected late August<\/mark>) is specially made to prevent the host calculator from charging the sensor battery. The sensor detects the connection to the host but does not detect charging. As a result, the charge status LED displays as if the sensor is fully charged (green), even when it isn’t.<\/p>\n

Be sure your Go Direct Sensor is fully charged before starting an investigation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Note:<\/strong> Wand-style Go Direct sensors (e.g., Go Direct pH and Go Direct Temperature) have a blue charge indicator LED that is on only while charging. Since the sensor battery does not charge, the charge LED on wand-style sensors is always off when using the Data-Only USB cable.<\/p>\n
