Logger Pro<\/em> version 3.16.2 is the final release of the Logger Pro<\/em> software. This means that any future Windows or macOS update can break Logger Pro<\/em>. While you certainly can continue to use Logger Pro<\/em> as desired, you do so with some risk. The information below identifies what Logger Pro<\/em> features are no longer supported on the latest computer operating systems.<\/p>\n

At some point an operating system change will break a feature of Logger Pro<\/em> that you use regularly. If this were to happen mid-year, any transition at that point would be awkward and inconvenient at best. While you can mitigate this risk by no longer updating your computer operating systems, you should only do that if your computers are no longer connected to the internet. While Logger Pro<\/em> itself does not pose any known security risks, internet-connected computers running older operating systems certainly do.<\/p>\n

Your best option for long term support for Vernier sensors is to transition at your earliest convenience to our newer software (Graphical Analysis<\/a>, Spectral Analysis<\/a>, Instrumental Analysis<\/a>, and Video Analysis<\/a>).
