If you already know the wavelength for analysis, then a full spectrum is not necessary. To set up data collection for modes other than full spectrum, follow the instructions below.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spectral Analysis<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the opening screen, choose the appropriate experiment type.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LabQuest App<\/h3>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From the Meter screen, tap the Mode box.<\/li>\n<li>Tap the Mode drop-down box and select the mode appropriate for your experiment<br \/>\u26ac Beer&#8217;s law: Events with Entry (Beer&#8217;s law)<br \/>\u26ac Kinetics: Time Based<\/li>\n<li>Adjust the parameters for your selected mode, then tap OK.<\/li>\n<li>Tap on the spectrometer&#8217;s meter box and choose Change Wavelength.<\/li>\n<li>Type in the wavelength for your analysis, then tap OK.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Logger <em>Pro<\/em><\/h3>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on Configure Spectrometer<\/li>\n<li>Choose either Absorbance vs Time (kinetics) or Absorbance vs Concentration (Beer&#8217;s law).<\/li>\n<li>Check the box corresponding to the wavelength for your analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Click OK.<\/li>\n<\/ol>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A full spectrum is taken in order to identify the wavelength for analysis.
