Fees will apply for out-of-warranty parts.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SpectroVis Plus (discontinued &#8211; sold between 2010 &#8211; 2016)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/gdx-svispl\">Go Direct SpectroVis Plus<\/a> (started selling in 2017)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/gdx-spec-vis\">Go Direct Visible Spectrophotometer<\/a> (started selling in 2022)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/vsp-uv\">UV-VIS Spectrophotometer<\/a> (sold between 2014-2022)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/gdx-spec-uv\">Go Direct UV-VIS Spectrophotometer<\/a> (started selling in 2022)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/vsp-fuv\">Fluorescence\/UV-VIS Spectrophotometer<\/a> (sold between 2017-2022)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/gdx-spec-fuv\">Go Direct Fluorescence\/UV-VIS Spectrophotometer<\/a> (started selling in 2022)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/vsp-em\">Emissions Spectrometer<\/a> (started selling in 2017)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/gdx-spec-em\">Go Direct Emissions Spectrometer<\/a> (started selling in 2022)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The following spectrometers can no longer be repaired or refurbished.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Original SpectroVis (discontinued &#8211; sold between 2008 &#8211; 2010). We are no longer able to secure the lamps that were used in these spectrometers.<\/li>\n<li>Ocean Optics spectrometers (including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/v-spec\">Vernier spectrometer?<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If your spectrometer is on the list of models that can usually be repaired, here are a few important items to note:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You cannot recondition the unit or replace the lamp yourself.<\/li>\n<li>You will have to send it into Vernier for replacement, slit repair, and recalibration or realignment.<\/li>\n<li>There is a fee associated with this if it is outside the warranty.<\/li>\n<li>The replaced bulb carries a one year warranty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you suspect your lamp is burned out or something is wrong with your spectrometer, begin with checking the output of your lamp in software according to the instructions here: <a href=\"\/til\/2416\/\">How do I check the lamp
