This issue is specific to the Windows installed version of Graphical Analysis.<\/strong>
This issue is most common when updating from v6.2.0 to v6.2.1.<\/p>\n

What is Happening?<\/h3>\n

When using the update tool within the Graphical Analysis app, the update can fail with the error: Vernier Graphical Analysis cannot be closed. <\/strong><\/p>\n

This happens because a task is still running. In order for the update to proceed, the task must be closed manually.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Resolving the Issue<\/h3>\n

To resolve the issue, do the following:<\/p>\n

  1. Pressing CTRL+ALT+Delete<\/strong> and select the Task Manager.<\/li>\n
  2. Locate the Vernier Graphical Analysis task that is running.<\/li>\n
  3. Right click the task, and select End task<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Close the task manager to return to the Graphical Analysis Setup box.<\/li>\n
  5. Click Retry<\/strong> to complete the update. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n
