If the “Require Password” option is selected, LabQuest will always require a password when connecting to the LabQuest Viewer.<\/p>\n

To remove the password challenge, do the following:<\/p>\n

LabQuest 3<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Tap Settings > Connection App<\/li>\n
  2. Tap the LabQuest Viewer icon, \"\".<\/li>\n
  3. Make sure the password box is unchecked.\n
      \n
    1. If it is unchecked, check it, change the password*, exit the dialog, then come back in, and then uncheck it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    2. Then exit the dialog.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      LabQuest 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. Tap the Wi-Fi icon.<\/li>\n
      2. Tap the gear next to LabQuest Viewer.<\/li>\n
      3. Make sure the password box is unchecked.\n
          \n
        1. If it is unchecked, check it, change the password*, exit the dialog, then come back in, and then uncheck it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        2. Then exit the dialog.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Original LabQuest<\/strong><\/p>\n

          1. Home > Control Panel > Viewer Setup<\/li>\n
          2. Make sure the password box is unchecked.\n

            1. If it is unchecked, check it, change the password*, exit the dialog, then come back in, and then uncheck it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
            2. Then exit the dialog.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              *It is not possible to remove the password from the LabQuest password entry dialog. This dialog must contain at least one character, otherwise the Done button is not active.<\/p>\n
