Cross-sensitivity means that if you are measuring O\u2083 in an environment where NO\u2082 is also present, the O\u2083 readings will read artificially high.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To correct for this cross-sensitivity, make sure to have both the NO\u2082 and O\u2083 channels selected, then create a calculated column for the Corrected Ozone reading following the steps provided below. The correction will use the expression: &#8220;O\u2083&#8221; \u2013 0.84 &#8220;NO\u2082&#8221;<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In Graphical Analysis Pro to set up a calculated column:<\/h3>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click or tap Column Options (three dot icon) next to the O\u2083 column header in the data table, then select Add Calculated Column.<\/li>\n<li>Enter&nbsp;<strong>Corrected Ozone<\/strong>&nbsp;as the name and&nbsp;<strong>ppm<\/strong>&nbsp;as the units.<\/li>\n<li>Click or tap Insert Expression and select Custom Expression.<\/li>\n<li>Type <strong>O<\/strong> and select &#8220;O\u2083&#8221;, then type: <strong>\u2212 0.84<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Now type <strong>N<\/strong> and select &#8220;NO\u2082&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Click or tap Apply.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ozone (O\u2083) sensor on the does have cross-sensitivity to nitrogen dioxide (NO\u2082).
