See <a href=\"https:\/\/connectevo.ti.com\/ticevo\/en\/\"><a href=\"https:\/\/connectevo.ti.com\/ticevo\/en\/\">https:\/\/connectevo.ti.com\/ticevo\/en\/<\/a><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Get your sensor and make sure it is charged. Supported sensors include <em><a href=\"\/product\/go-direct-temperature-probe\/\">Go Direct<sup>&reg;<\/sup> Temperature Probe<\/a> (<nobr>GDX-TMP<\/nobr>), <a href=\"\/product\/go-direct-gas-pressure-sensor\/\">Go Direct<sup>&reg;<\/sup> Gas Pressure Sensor<\/a> (<nobr>GDX-GP<\/nobr>), <\/em><em><a href=\"\/product\/go-direct-motion-detector\/\">Go Direct<sup>&reg;<\/sup> Motion Detector<\/a> (<nobr>GDX-MD<\/nobr>), and <a href=\"\/product\/go-direct-ph-sensor\/\">Go Direct<sup>&reg;<\/sup> pH Sensor<\/a> (<nobr>GDX-PH<\/nobr>).<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Locate an adapter and\/or cable that lets you connect the sensor to the calculator&#8217;s USB-C port. <em>(These cables and adapters are not included with the calculator or the sensor. For information on which charging port a particular Go Direct sensor has, see <a href=\"\/til\/27397\/\">Which Go Direct sensors have a USB-C port?<\/a>)<\/em>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>All sensors <\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>USB-A (female) to USB-C (male) adapter &#8212; use the adapter with the charging cable included with the sensor. <br \/>(<em>We have tested the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Adapter-Anker-High-Speed-Transfer-Notebook\/dp\/B08HZ6PS61\/145-1638575-1075140?psc=1\">ANKER<\/a> brand adapter.<\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sensors with a Micro USB port<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"\/product\/micro-usb-to-usb-c-cable\/\">Micro USB to USB-C Cable<\/a> (<nobr>CB-USB-C-MICRO<\/nobr>)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/product\/ti-calculator-data-only-go-direct-sensor-cable\/\">TI Calculator Data-Only Go Direct Sensor Cable<\/a> (<nobr>CB-GDX-TICALC<\/nobr>) &#8212; this cable requires a USB-Mini (female) to USB-C (male) adapter <a href=\"https:\/\/epsstore.ti.com\/OA_HTML\/ibeCCtpItmDspRte.jsp?section=12178&amp;item=1098553&amp;sitex=10023:22372:US\">available from Texas Instruments<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sensors with a USB-C port<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>USB-C to USB-C cable &#8212; the cable must support data transfer and not just charging. (The <a href=\"https:\/\/epsstore.ti.com\/OA_HTML\/ibeCCtpItmDspRte.jsp?section=12178&amp;item=1019564&amp;sitex=10023:22372:US\">unit-to-unit USB-C cable<\/a> that comes with TI-84 Evo Teacher Packs can work for this.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Turn the calculator on, then connect the sensor to the calculator. <em>(The sensor will turn on and the EasyData app will launch.)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Press any key (except ON) to continue with EasyData. <em>(Pressing ON will exit the app.)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Optional:<\/em><\/strong> Change the Sensor Channel the sensor uses <em>(Go Direct Motion and Go Direct pH only)<\/em>.\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-alpha\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Press <strong>SETUP<\/strong>, then select the sensor &#8211; the first option in the list.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>CH.SEL<\/strong>, then change the Sensor Channel as desired.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only one sensor channel at a time is supported in EasyData. <\/li>\n<li>For Go Direct Motion, you must uncheck the selected sensor channel before selecting the new one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Press <strong>OK<\/strong> to return to the EasyData main screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Press <strong>SETUP<\/strong> to modify the data collection settings.\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-alpha\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To change the Time-based settings\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-roman\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose <strong>2: Time Graph<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<li>Press <strong>EDIT<\/strong>, then make adjustments as desired. <\/li>\n<li>Press <strong>OK<\/strong> to verify the setup, then press <strong>OK<\/strong> again to return to the EasyData main screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>To use other data collection modes, such as Events with Entry and Distance Match, select the desired mode from the list.
