{"id":2774,"date":"2012-09-17T17:55:16","date_gmt":"2012-09-18T00:55:16","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T07:00:00","slug":"2774","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/2774","title":{"rendered":"Does the conductivity probe have different calibrations?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In September 2012, we updated the Conductivity probe with a new calibration on each switch setting to optimize it for small improvements in the hardware. <\/p>\n<p>Pre-Sept 2012 Calibration values:<br \/>\n\tLow Setting = 65.7 uS\/cm<br \/>\n\tMiddle Setting = 847.2 uS\/cm<br \/>\n\tHigh Setting = 7819 uS\/cm<\/p>\n<p>Post-Sept 2012 Calibration values:<br \/>\n\tLow Setting = 65.7 uS\/cm<br \/>\n\tMiddle Setting = 960 uS\/cm<br \/>\n\tHigh Setting = 9000 uS\/cm<\/p>\n<p>You may find that it improves the accuracy of your Pre-Sept 2012 Conductivity probe to burn onto the sensor the Post-Sept 2012 calibration values.
