Without knowing more than <em>Microsoft Surface<\/em> this question cannot be answered. <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><b>Some Surface tablets<\/b>\u00a0 run the  <em>full<\/em> versions of Windows 10 or 11 with standard processors, and <em>are<\/em> compatible with Logger <i>Pro<\/i>, Graphical Analysis, and other apps.\u00a0Note that Logger <i>Pro<\/i> has not been optimized for touch-screen devices, but Surface Pro models include a stylus (&#8220;Pro Pen&#8221;) which works well.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Surface Pro X<\/strong> has a type of processor called ARM that is <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/surface\/surface-pro-arm-app-performance\">not compatible<\/a> with many conventional applications. Logger <em>Pro<\/em> 3.16.2, and Graphical Analysis 5.6 and later, include ARM-compatible drivers for LabQuest interfaces and will work on the Surface Pro X. However, there are some other hardware limitations.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No LabPro support<\/li>\n<li>No Vernier GPS sensor support<\/li>\n<li>No OHAUS Balance support<\/li>\n<li>No Watts Up Pro support<\/li>\n<li>No Ocean Optics spectrometer support (Logger <em>Pro<\/em> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/product\/spectral-analysis\/\">Spectral Analysis<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>No Wireless Dynamics Sensor System support<\/li>\n<li>No LabQuest Stream via Bluetooth support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Surface RT<\/strong> and <strong>Surface 2<\/strong> run Windows RT, which is not the full Windows operating system and does not support the majority of Windows applications.\u00a0 No Vernier apps are compatible with Windows RT. These are old tablets (circa 2015) and are not in common use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some Surface tablets run Windows 10 S, which does not allow apps outside of the Windows store to run.
