If you are evaluating the range of motion of a joint, such as the knee or elbow, then the stored calibration should work well. For dynamic analysis of a joint you may want to calibrate the sensor before attaching it to a subject.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SINGLE-POINT CALIBRATION<\/strong><br \/>\nCalibration involves a simple single point calibration at 180 degrees. The instructions for calibration are dependent on the data-collection interface you are using.<\/p>\n<p>Calibrating the Goniometer with Logger <i>Pro<\/i><br \/>\n1. Choose Calibrate from the Experiment menu and then click Calibrate Now in the Sensor Settings dialog box.<br \/>\n2. Select the box marked One Point Calibration. Click on the Calibrate Now button.<br \/>\n3. Rotate the flexible arm of the Goniometer until it is positioned 180\u00ba from the stationary arm.<br \/>\n4. Verify that the set screw on the side of the dial is aligned with the silver dot on the baseplate. Reposition the dial if necessary.<br \/>\n5. Enter 180\u00ba for value 1, click Keep and then click OK.<\/p>\n<p>Calibrating the Goniometer with LabQuest App<br \/>\n1. Choose Calibrate from the Sensors menu.
