{"id":2889,"date":"2018-05-25T21:33:37","date_gmt":"2018-05-26T04:33:37","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2021-04-08T11:45:06","modified_gmt":"2021-04-08T18:45:06","slug":"2889","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/2889","title":{"rendered":"What do the numbers on the bottom label of the SpectroVis Plus mean?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You will find two sets of letter number pairs separated by a colon in the bottom right hand corner on the bottom label of the SpectroVis Plus (SVIS-PL, <em>discontinued<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>The letter and number pairs correspond to the firmware and hardware revision of the device.<\/p>\n<p>The H stands for the hardware revision. For example, H:2 means that the device is second generation hardware.<\/p>\n<p>The F stands for the firmware revision.
