Nothing is more disappointing than discovering issues while in the field or realizing data was not saved when returning from the field.<\/p>\n<p><u>Tip #2:<\/u> Charge the LabQuest fully overnight before a day&#8217;s use in the field. Consider bringing extra, charged batteries into the field, such as our <a href=\"\/product\/labquest-battery-boost-3\/\">LabQuest<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Battery Boost 3<\/a> (<nobr>LQ-BOOST3<\/nobr>). Information regarding tools for charging the battery in the field can be found at:<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/til\/2194\/\">Can I use solar power or an external battery pack to power LabQuest?<\/a><\/p>\n<p><u>Tip #3:<\/u> If you are doing water quality, consider using the Data Matrix mode, which is perfect for collecting data at multiples sites over multiple days.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/til\/2366\/\">What is the Data Matrix and how is it used?<\/a><\/p>\n<p><u>Tip #4:<\/u> Keep the interface you are using dry during use and during transport. One of the simplest ways to keep your interface dry is to use a neck strap. If a student drops a LabQuest near the stream, it only goes as far as the end of the strap.
