This is a useful way to display the LabQuest screen for a class demonstration. The instructions below assume you have LabQuest software version 2.3.3 or newer.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Set up LabQuest to work with LabQuest Viewer software via USB<\/h2>\n<p><b>Caution:<\/b> While LabQuest is configured to work with the viewer via USB, you cannot use it as a computer (or Chromebook) interface with Logger <i>Pro<\/i>, Logger Lite, Graphical Analysis, or Graphical Analysis Pro. To allow your LabQuest to work as a computer or Chromebook interface, you must disconnect the USB and then un-check Enable Viewer.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"inline wp-block-list\">\n<li>Launch the Connections App\n<ul>\n<li><strong>LabQuest 2<\/strong>\u268aTap the Wi-Fi icon. <\/li>\n<li><strong>LabQuest 3<\/strong>\u268aTap the Connections App icon from the Settings screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Tap the icon next to Viewer (gear or <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"25\" height=\"23\" class=\"wp-image-8917\" style=\"width: 25px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/09\/connections-labquest-viewer@2x.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/09\/connections-labquest-viewer@2x.png 95w, https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/09\/connections-labquest-viewer@2x-90x87.png 90w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 25px) 100vw, 25px\" \/>) to open the LabQuest Viewer Settings dialog.  <\/li>\n<li>Verify that LabQuest Viewer is On, Allow screen control is checked, and Enable Viewer over USB is checked.<\/li>\n<li>Tap the OK button.  <\/li>\n<li>Connect LabQuest to the computer using the USB cable that came with the unit.<\/li>\n<li>Start LabQuest Viewer software.<\/li>\n<li>Select your LabQuest from the list provided.<\/li>\n<li>A view of the LabQuest screen will be visible in the LabQuest Viewer software.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In some cases, the USB driver needs to be installed on the computer separately.
