We sell multiple motion detectors. The motion detectors we sell are very similar and use the same ultrasonic technology. The choice of which to buy depends primarily on the other equipment you will be using to collect data. <\/p>\n

Go Direct®<\/sup> Motion Detector<\/a> (GDX-MD<\/nobr>)<\/h3>\n

This is our most popular motion detector. It connects directly to your mobile device, Chromebook, or computer running our Graphical Analysis or Graphical Analysis Pro app. <\/p>\n

Go Direct Sensors can connect via USB or wirelessly via Bluetooth without additional equipment. It can also connect to LabQuest 2 or LabQuest 3. A rechargeable battery is pre-installed.<\/p>\n

The Go Direct Motion Detector can also be used with TI-Nspire CX II and TI-Nspire CX II CAS handhelds (requires TI Bluetooth Adapter or Data-Only Go Direct USB cable, both sold separately).<\/p>\n

This is the best choice for new users who have no interfaces, or who are using mobile devices in the classroom.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Motion Detector<\/a> (MD-BTD<\/nobr>)<\/h3>\n

To collect data with this motion detector, you need to connect it to a Vernier interface. Supported interfaces include LabQuest 3, LabQuest 2, Original LabQuest, LabQuest Stream, LabQuest Mini, LabPro, CBL 2, and TI-Nspire Lab Cradle. <\/p>\n

Use this sensor with Logger Pro<\/em> 3 computer software, LabQuest App (any version), and Graphical Analysis or Graphical Analysis Pro for computers and Chromebooks, EasyData, DataMate, and DataQuest App. It ships with a Digital Sensor Cable<\/a> (MDC-BTD<\/nobr>).<\/p>\n

If you already own a support interface, the Motion Detector is the most cost-effective option.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Go! Motion<\/a> (GO-MOT<\/nobr>)<\/h3>\n

This motion detector is a USB-only direct-connect sensor for use with Logger Pro<\/em> 3 computer software, LabQuest App (any model LabQuest), and Graphical Analysis or Graphical Analysis Pro on computers or Chromebooks. USB cable is included. <\/p>\n

The Go!Motion can also be connected to a LabQuest 3, LabQuest 2, Original LabQuest, LabQuest Stream, LabQuest Mini, LabPro, CBL 2, and TI-Nspire Lab Cradle (using a Digital Sensor Cable<\/a> (MDC-BTD<\/nobr>), sold separately.)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

CBR 2<\/a> (CBR2<\/nobr>)<\/h3>\n

If you want to connect a motion detector directly to your TI graphing calculator, without the use of an interface, the CBR 2 is the option for you. It connects directly to a TI-73 Explorer, TI-82, TI-83, TI-83 Plus, TI-84 Plus, TI-86, TI-89, TI-92, TI-92 Plus, TI-Nspire, TI-Nspire CAS, or TI Voyage 200 calculator. In addition, the CBR 2 can be connected to a CBL, CBL 2, TI-Nspire Lab Cradle, LabPro, LabQuest devices (any model), LabQuest Stream, or LabQuest Mini (using a Digital Sensor Cable<\/a> (MDC-BTD<\/nobr>), sold separately).<\/p>\n

The CBR 2 comes with a Go!Motion to Calculator Cable<\/a> (TI-GMC-IO<\/nobr>) and Go!Motion to Calculator Mini-USB port<\/a> (TI-GMUSB<\/nobr>) for connecting to calculators.
