One end of the cable is either a British Telecom Analog (BTA) plug or a British Telecom Digital (BTD) plug that connects to a Vernier interface. At the other end of the cable, individual wires have been exposed so that it can be connected to a standard electronics prototyping board or similar device (like a National Instruments ELVIS).

If you are having difficulties with a Breadboard Cable, verify the following:
1. The Breadboard Cable is securely seated in the prototyping board.
2. The BTA/BTD plug is seated correctly in the Vernier interface, e.g. LabQuest Mini or SensorDAQ.
3. The correct pins are being accessed on the prototyping board; pin out specifications can be found below.

USAGE TIPS
Vernier Breadboard Cables provide an easy way to connect homemade sensors to a Vernier interface.

RELATED TIL ENTRIES
Where can I find BTA and BTD connectors and sockets?
Can I use Vernier LabQuest sensors with non-Vernier software or interfaces?
Instrumentation Amplifier Troubleshooting and FAQs
Could I use one of your interfaces to connect the output of my third-party GC to your software?
What are the nominal gain settings for the Instrumentation Amplifier?
How do I use my homemade sensor with Logger Pro?

SPECIFICATIONS
Pin Information for BB-BTA

Pin Information for BB-BTD

Details on how to connect a device or homemade sensor to a Vernier interface via a Breadboard Cable can be found: How do I use my homemade sensor with Logger Pro?

Pin out specifications for the BTA and BTD plugs can be found here:
Vernier Wired Sensor Pinouts

RELATED VERNIER PRODUCTS
Digital Protoboard Adapter (BTD-ELV)
Analog Protoboard Adapter (BTA-ELV)
Vernier Arduino® Interface Shield (BT-ARD)

TROUBLESHOOTING The Vernier Breadboard Cables are fairly simple.
