The units for the default readings are kPa and they should be reasonable for the altitude at which the sensor is being used (around 101 kPa at sea-level). The Pressure Sensor is calibrated to atmospheric pressure in Portland, Oregon before shipping. You may wish to recalibrate with the atmosphere of your region by doing a one-point calibration. For more information, see <a href=\"\/til\/4011\/\">How do I calibrate my sensor?<\/a><\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Connect the Pressure Sensor 400 to an interface and launch the software.<\/li>\n<li>Initiate the calibration procedure and make sure the one-point calibration option is checked. This should be the default option.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the known calibration value in the Reading 1 box.<\/li>\n<li>Once the readings in the input field stop changing significantly, click Keep to record the input value. After Keep is selected, a new calibration is created. The calibration is added to the list of available calibrations and it is marked as Not Saved.
