It requires a previous version of free software, available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/downloads\/labview-virtual-instrument-downloads\/flash-photolysis-spectrometer-downloads\/\">here<\/a>. A 600 nm interference filter is included with the original Vernier Flash Photolysis Spectrometer. A filter housing is also included. These filters select the wavelength monitored by the photodiode. Additional filters can be purchased from any filter company. Ensure the Flash Photolysis Spectrometer Software is installed on your computer before using the Vernier Flash Photolysis Spectrometer.<br \/>\n2. Connect the spectrometer to a powered USB port on the computer or a powered USB hub.<br \/>\n3. Start the Flash Photolysis Spectrometer Software on your computer.<br \/>\n4. Select the appropriate filter for your experiment.<br \/>\n5. Insert the filter housing into its slot on the instrument. The voltage reading should drop.<\/p>\n<p>-Minimum software version: Free download available at www.vernier.com\/vsp-fp<br \/>\nYou do NOT need to purchase full LabView for this VI to work.<br \/>\nThe Vernier Flash Photolysis Spectrometer Software collects the signal waveform from the photodetector.
