Follow these instructions to remove or replace a Go Wireless® 100 mAh Replacement Battery<\/a> (GW-BAT-100<\/nobr>), in your Go Wireless pH or Go Wireless Electrode Amplifier. Follow these instructions carefully as PERMANENT DAMAGE<\/b> can result if not done properly.<\/i><\/p>\n

Battery Removal Instructions<\/b><\/p>\n

Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver (#00 or #2, Hand tool only: do not use an electric screwdriver)<\/p>\n

  1. If necessary, remove the electrode from the Electrode Amplifier.<\/li>\n
  2. Unscrew and remove the charging end cap on the Go Wireless Electrode Amplifier.

  3. Unscrew the BNC connetor end cap on the Go Wireless Electrode Amplifier.

  4. Remove the BNC connector end cap.

  5. Carefully slide the circuit board out of the probe housing.

  6. Carefully pull up on the battery connector to remove it from the circuit board.

    Battery Replacement Instructions<\/b><\/p>\n

    1. Follow the Battery Removal Instructions, above, to remove the dead battery.<\/li>\n
    2. Press the new battery connector down onto the associated pin connector located on the circuit board. Wrap the wires around the edge of the circuit board as shown.

    3. Carefully slide the circuit board into the probe housing. Be sure the charging end cap has been removed before replacing the circuit board or permanent damage<\/b> can result.<\/i>

    4. Place the BNC connector end cap onto the probe housing.

    5. With the BNC end cap in place, secure with two screws.

    6. Carefully place the charging end cap onto the probe housing. Caution:<\/B> Be sure the charging clips are not bent or broken or permanent damage<\/b> can result.<\/i> Secure the two screws.

    7. Test the new battery by pressing the button once on your Go Wireless Electrode Amplifier and verifying the LED lights.<\/li>\n
    8. After the unit turns on, verify the charging circuit works by connecting the sensor to a charging station or cable. The blue charge light should illuminate when the sensor is connected to power. If it does not, the charging clips may be bent bent or broken.<\/li>\n
