Removing both of these will likely solve most issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-background-color has-background\">In general, we recommend removing the Go Direct SpectroVis Plus battery if you are not using the device wirelessly. The AC power adapter is only needed to charge the battery and is not required for operation.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Additional Troubleshooting<\/h3>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MOST COMMON<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"\/til\/4091\/\">My Go Direct SpectroVis Plus is not identified or won't turn on.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/til\/2354\/\">My Spectrometer is not working properly. Yes, in absorbance and transmittance modes. Calibration when using emissions or fluorescence modes is optional. See calibration instructions below:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Start the calibration. <br \/>\u26ac <strong>Logger <i>Pro<\/i>:<\/strong> Choose Calibrate \u25b6 Spectrophotometer from the Experiment menu. <br \/>\u26ac <strong>LabQuest App:<\/strong> Choose Calibrate \u25b6 USB: Spectrophotometer from the Sensors menu.<br \/>\u26ac <strong>Spectral Analysis:<\/strong> Select to start an Absorbance or Transmittance experiment.<br \/><strong>Note:<\/strong> For best results, allow the Spectrophotometer to warm up for a minimum of five minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Fill a cuvette about 3\/4 full with distilled water (or the solvent being used in the experiment) to serve as the blank. After the spectrophotometer has warmed up, place the blank cuvette in the spectrophotometer.
