The LabVIEW installers found on the <a href=\"\/downloads\/labview-virtual-instrument-downloads\/sensordaq\/\">LabVIEW Downloads<\/a> page, place the correct drivers, menu items, and example folders into an existing installation of LabVIEW, so that LabVIEW users can use Vernier sensors and interfaces in their VIs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the installer year lags behind your version of LabVIEW it will create a folder in the same path as the LabVIEW software, but in a folder named for the latest year the installer recognizes. You will need to find those files and move them to your new LabVIEW installation folders as follows:<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. A folder called &#8220;Vernier&#8221; into the LabVIEW 20xxexamples directory.<br \/>2. Folders called &#8220;Vernier Go&#8221;, &#8220;Vernier LabQuest&#8221;, and &#8220;Vernier SensorDAQ&#8221; into the LabVIEW 20xxmenusCategories directory.<br \/>3. A folder called &#8220;Vernier&#8221; into the LabVIEW 20xxvi.lib directory<br \/>(Where &#8220;xx&#8221; refers to the year version of the existing LabVIEW installation)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note: If you are using SensorDAQ, you must have the NI&#8217;s DAQmx software and driver installed prior to running any example VIs using our sensors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note: If you are using LabQuest, you must have the LabQuest driver installed prior to running the example VIs. This driver is installed with our Logger <i>Pro<\/i> and Graphical Analysis or Graphical Analysis Pro apps, as well as with our LabVIEW installer.
