Try to turn the unit off by holding the power button down for 10 seconds.<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;If the unit won&#8217;t shut off that way:<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;a. Remove the battery and disconnect the AC power adapter so the unit shuts off.<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;b. Connect the AC power adapter or reinstall the battery.<br \/>2. Press the power button to power on the device.<\/p>\n<p>If the unit boots up normally at this point, the white screen was some sort of software crash. Install the latest update: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/support\/updates\/labquest\/labq2\/\">https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/support\/updates\/labquest\/labq2\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If the screen is still white, there may be a problem with the video card or one of the internal connections.
