Connect your sensor as described in the <a href=\"\/til\/get-started\/go-direct\">Getting Started instructions for your device<\/a>. If the <strong>DO Concentration<\/strong> or <strong>DO Saturation<\/strong> sensor channels are not reading accurately, a reset can be done using a one-point calibration. To do a reset, follow the instructions below.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fill the storage bottle to the top of the sponge with distilled water.<\/li>\n<li>Insert the probe into the storage bottle and make sure it is positioned vertically so that the tip is not in contact with the sponge or water.<\/li>\n<li>Start the software and identify your probe, if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Keep the probe in a vertical position for a minimum of 60 seconds.<\/li>\n<li>Click or tap the sensor meter for the channel you want to reset (DO Concentration or DO Saturation).<\/li>\n<li>Choose calibrate, and follow the instructions on the screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-very-light-gray-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> the temperature and pressure sensors cannot be calibrated by the user.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>DO Salinity<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The salinity correction is automatically set for 35 ppt. To change the correction, click or tap the DO Salinity meter, choose calibrate, and enter the actual salinity concentration, in ppt.
