{"id":4395,"date":"2019-04-18T17:40:36","date_gmt":"2019-04-19T00:40:36","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2023-07-06T10:56:57","modified_gmt":"2023-07-06T17:56:57","slug":"4395","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/4395","title":{"rendered":"I can&#8217;t connect my sensor to Scratch."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you are having trouble connecting your <a href=\"\/product\/go-direct-force-and-acceleration-sensor\/\">Go Direct<sup>&reg;<\/sup> Force and Acceleration Sensor<\/a> (<nobr>GDX-FOR<\/nobr>) to your Scratch 3 project, try the following:<br \/>\n1. Make sure the Force and Acceleration Sensor is turned on; the Bluetooth LED should be flashing red.<br \/>\n2. Verify that your device is compatible with the Scratch Link app (PC\/Mac) and running. If you are on iOS, Android, or ChromeOS, verify that your device is compatible with the Scratch App; the Force and Acceleration Sensor extension will not run in the web editor on these devices, the app is required.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: If you haven&#8217;t updated Scratch Link you may need to uninstall your version and reinstall the latest version in order for this connection to work.<\/p>\n<p>3. Check that the Force and Acceleration sensor is not already connected to another Scratch project or to another app, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/products\/software\/graphical-analysis\/\">Graphical Analysis app<\/a>. If it is already connected, its Bluetooth LED will be flashing green.<\/p>\n<p>4.
